Wishing all DGP Students a Blessed Children's Day

David & Goliath Preschool wishes all children in Singapore a joyful Children’s Day 2022. We are thankful for all the wonderfully and fearfully made children in DGP.

The children have their children's day celebration on 6 October 2022. They enjoy popping the bubbles @ the garden and playing games (balloon, hide and seek, musical chair, dancing) plus the delicious food and desserts too. The highlight of the celebration for the children is definitely the thoughtful presents from all cheerful givers.

Our greatest pleasure in David & Goliath Preschool lies in bringing smiles to children's faces and creating some moments for children to remember in the future. Blessed Happy Children's Day 2022!

DGP Students celebrate Mid-Autumn Festival with JCC

David & Goliath Preschool wishes everyone a happy blessed Mid-Autumn Festival. May all of you have a blessed gathering and bonding time to celebrate the festival with lanterns, games, mooncakes and tea with your loved ones.

The little ones from Playgroup and Nursery One had a walk around with their colourful illuminated lanterns. The children from Nursery Two enjoyed their mooncake tasting session with sampling of Chinese tea while gazing at the “full moon” and listening to the stories about Mid-Autumn.

中秋节是每年的农历八月十五日又称“仲秋”，是华族传统节日中仅次于春节的第二大传统节日。

为了让孩子们感受节日氛围，传承节日习俗。 我们通过让孩子们学习传统故事《后羿射日》、《嫦娥奔月》，让他们了解中秋节的由来。并让孩子们亲身体验吃月饼 、赏月、提灯笼、品茶等传统习俗，让他们理解中秋团圆的意义。

Han Yu Pin Yin Enrichment Class

As part of Jurong Christian Church Chinese section's children programmes, we are conducting Hanyu Pinyin classes for K2 and P1 kids to brush up their Chinese language proficiency.

For a nominal monthly fee, our volunteer will provide materials to train students to transit well into the primary school's Chinese syllabus. Each curriculum lasts between 15-20 lessons, or about 2 terms.
